Motorola Solutions has made an announcement stating that it has dispatched its 3.5 mnth TETRA digital radio terminal to the customers of public safety and commercial products across the world. To mark this significant milestone, the MSSSI VP of sales and the country manager at Motorola Solutions, Germany, Christoph Thomas, presented an especially designed TETRA digital radio terminal to Dieter Romann, the president of the Presidium of the Federal Police of Germany, at the recently opened TETRA Center of Excellence in Berlin.
The machinery of all the public safety organizations in Germany, including digital radios and several other accessories by Motorola Solutions, function on the basis of a framework contract, where one of the parties is the procurement office of the Federal Ministry of the Interior of Germany, following an extensive tender covering the overall Europe. The most prominent milestone of Motorola Solutions has come at a time when there is an enormous pressure on public safety organizations. With the growing populations and diminishing budgets, threats are getting more and more complicated. The need for interoperable solutions for data, voice, multimedia, and various other applications, which enable consumers to work safer, faster, and efficiently is increasing significantly.
“With the delivery of the 3.5 mnth TETRA radio terminal, the position of the company has been reinforced as a reliable market leader in offering target oriented solutions to commercial and public safety organizations across the world,” stated Mark Schmidl, the corporate VP of sales at Motorola Solutions in the MEA and Europe.
